Women make up 40% of mountaineers. Less than 7% of high-altitude research includes them. We're changing that.

ISHARE is the world's first all-women's high-altitude medical expedition, climbing to 7,246m (23,773ft) in Nepal — but the science applies far below the summit. Severe altitude illnesses can occur as low as 2,500m (about 8,000ft), the elevation of destinations like Vail, Aspen, and Cusco. This research matters for the health of skiers, hikers and everyday visitors to the mountains, not just elite climbers.
