Funding Sources
Funding for biomedical research on women, while never robust, has become increasingly scarce. Women comprise 40-50% of mountain travelers and enthusiasts but only 30% of research participants. We are seeking to fund the SHARE project through support from private individuals, foundations and corporations around the world.
ISHARE hopes to connect with people around the world, and we deeply value contributions of every size. Even the smallest donation is meaningful because it reflects the growing community of individuals who believe in and support women's medical research and the health of women exploring mountains and other wilderness areas.
