Help Us Reach the
First Stop: Tarakot

Our expedition is guided by an international advisory board of leading scientists and mountaineers, ensuring every donation funds research held to the highest scientific standard.

We're excited to be nearing our first funding goal, Tarakot ($90K), on our $500K climb. Every gift, at any size, moves the marker below closer to base camp — and closer to answers women in the mountains have waited too long for.
Every gift, at any level, gets us closer to Tarakot — and the summit beyond.

Funding for biomedical research on women has become increasingly scarce at a time when it is needed most. Women comprise 40–50% of mountain travelers worldwide, yet represent only 30% of research participants in high-altitude studies.

ISHARE is seeking support from individuals, foundations, and corporations around the world. Every contribution matters — not just for what it funds, but because it reflects a growing community of people who believe women's health in the mountains deserves serious scientific attention.
